Hong Kong tycoon Lee Ka-shing's CKH said all 40 units at the freehold condominium Cairnhill Crest, released in two batches in March and April, have been sold at an average price of $3.2 million per unit or $1,825 per sq ft.
CKH will release the 16 remaining units, out of a total 248, in the second half of the year, with a possible price increment of 3-5 per cent. Cairnhill Crest, in the Cairnhill Road-Emerald Hill-Orchard Road triangle of District 9, has a total area of 157,000 sq ft in three tower blocks.
The development has 10 duplex penthouses, 10 ground-floor maisonettes and single-storey apartments.
CKH's deputy chief manager of sales, Francis Wong, said apartments in District 9 are popular with expatriates and most of the tenants 'are North Americans and Europeans who are senior management staff of renowned multinational companies'.
Apartments have been rented at an average rate of $5.1 psf per month.
In another announcement, SC Global said all units at Three Three Robin, in the Balmoral/Stevens Road residential enclave, have been sold at an average price of $1,100 psf.
The 36-unit freehold development was launched in mid-2004 and incorporates 10 different layouts ranging from 1,367 sq ft to the 4,855 sq ft penthouse.
As for CapitaLand's developments, Patricia Chia, chief executive officer of CapitaLand Residential Singapore said: 'At Tanglin Residences, there is only one townhouse available, priced at $6 million. The Botanic on Lloyd is fully sold, with the last townhouse transacted at $5.6 million.'
CapitaLand said that according to the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers, a fifth-storey apartment at The Botanic on Lloyd was transacted in April for $2.95 million or $1,960 psf.
All apartments at Tanglin Residences and The Botanic on Lloyd have been sold.
