| SINGAPORE : The Housing and Development Board is launching for sale 100 two-room flats in Jurong West.
It is also putting up for sale another 418 four-room and 97 five-room flats in Bukit Merah and Queenstown under the Balloting Exercise, starting on Friday.
Applications for these flats can be submitted to the HDB till September 14.
HDB says it has resumed the sale of new two-room flats with the launch of the first batch of similar flats at Sengkang under the Build-to-Order System in July this year.
To meet the needs of lower-income households within a shorter timeframe, 100 two-room flats are now available for sale at Jurong West Street 93.
They have been converted from five-room flats and will be ready for occupation by the end of this year.
Households with a gross monthly income of up to S$2,000 will be eligible to buy the new two-room flats.
This is also subject to other eligibility conditions like citizenship, family nucleus, and non-ownership of private property. - CNA /ct
