| Taman Jurong to be put up for auction A SMALL commercial site in Yung Ho Road, Taman Jurong, will be put up for auction by JTC Corporation on Nov 29. Colliers International, which will conduct the auction at Amara Hotel, said yesterday the site occupies a land area of about 1,375.8 sq m (14,808 sq ft) and now houses a fast-food outlet. The site has a gross plot ratio of 0.2 and is zoned for commercial/food and beverage use. The lease period is 30 years from Dec 16, 2006. Colliers' executive director and auctioneer Grace Ng expects the site to fetch $1.9-1.95 million based on existing use. However, a buyer could apply to raise the current gross plot ratio to increase the gross floor area of the existing development. The site is close to amenities including a hypermarket, food and beverage outlets, banking facilities and an entertainment complex. The area is easily accessible via the Ayer Rajah Expressway and is close to the Lakeside and Chinese Garden MRT stations. |
