HDB's latest walk-in-selection exercise launches 1,147 flats By May Wong, Channel NewsAsia | Posted: 06 November 2006 1529 hrs SINGAPORE: The Housing and Development Board (HDB) is launching a total of 1,147 flats under the latest walk-in-selection exercise. The flats are located in Hougang, Punggol and Sengkang. Four-room, five-room and executive flats are available for sale. Interested buyers can book these flats from this Wednesday, November 8. From Saturday, November 11, HDB will also be temporarily suspending the sale of flats under the walk-in-selection exercise for established towns. This is to allow HDB to take stock of the balance units in towns like Ang Mo Kio and Queenstown. HDB will launch the remaining units from these locations again in the first quarter of next year. - CNA/so
