Geylang Serai flats too small

I WAS very disappointed after reading your article on the 'build-to-order' flats in Geylang Serai (ST, Oct 27).

Can HDB reconsider its plan on the floor area of the flat? The total floor area is too small for the four- and five-room flats. In fact, they should not be less than 120sqm. What is HDB going to achieve by building small flats? It may have no buyers besides dissatisfied customers.

I decided not to upgrade to a five-room flat in Redhill Close as it was smaller than my present four-room flat and it's expensive. The HDB should listen to its customers and serve their needs.
