SINGAPORE: The Urban Redevelopment Authority is putting up a hotel site at Bencoolen Street for tender in two weeks.

That is after receiving an application from a developer to bid a minimum S$36m for the site.

The 99 year leasehold land parcel sits on 3,600 square metres and has a gross plot ratio of 4.2.

It can generate a maximum gross floor area of more than 15,000 square metres.

The successful developer can build a hotel of up to 16 storeys.

The Bencoolen site is the second hotel site to be released this week.

URA said on Monday it will put up another site at Mohamed Sultan Road along the Singapore River for tender after receiving a minimum bid of S$26m. - CNA /dt
